InternetPromotions.net is an independent authorized retailer of Spectrum services. This policy covers information collected by this site and by our sales agents. Services you order are provided by Charter Communications under Spectrum’s own privacy policy, which applies separately to your account and your use of Spectrum services.

Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly and information generated automatically when you use this site.

Information you provide

• Name, service address, billing address, email address and phone number.
• The services and plans you ask about or order.
• Information you share during a phone call with a sales agent, including call recordings where permitted by law.
• Payment details required to place an order, collected and processed by the provider or a payment processor rather than stored by us.

Information collected automatically

• Device and browser type, operating system, and screen size.
• IP address and approximate location derived from it, used to check service availability.
• Pages viewed, links clicked, time on page, and the site or ad that referred you.
• Identifiers set by cookies and similar technologies, including call-tracking numbers that connect a phone call to the ad or page you came from.

How we use your information

• Check whether service is available at your address and quote accurate pricing.
• Place, verify and support your order, including a credit check where the provider requires one.
• Contact you about your inquiry by phone, email or text, including follow-up if you did not complete an order.
• Measure and improve our advertising, our site, and the performance of our sales team.
• Detect fraud, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it in these circumstances:

• Service providers. Charter Communications and its affiliates receive the information needed to provision, install and bill the services you order.
• Vendors working for us. Hosting, call-tracking, CRM, analytics and advertising vendors process information on our instructions and are contractually limited to that purpose.
• Advertising partners. Advertising and analytics cookies may share identifiers and browsing activity with third parties. Under some state laws this counts as “sharing” or “targeted advertising,” and you can opt out — see Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.
• Legal and business transfers. When required by law, subpoena or court order, to protect our rights or safety, or in connection with a merger or sale of our business.

Calls, texts and consent

When you call us or submit your number, you agree that we and our agents may contact you at that number about Spectrum services, including by autodialed or prerecorded call and by text message. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out of texts, or ask an agent to add you to our internal do-not-call list.

Cookies and tracking

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can turn on a Global Privacy Control signal in supported browsers, which we honor as an opt-out of sharing for targeted advertising. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of this site work. We do not respond to Do Not Track headers, which have no agreed standard.

Data retention and security

We keep inquiry and order records for as long as needed to serve you, meet legal and accounting requirements, and resolve disputes. We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Know what personal information we have collected, used and disclosed about you.
• Request a copy of that information, or ask us to correct or delete it.
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising.
• Limit our use of sensitive personal information.
• Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, call us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised, and material changes will be posted on this page.
